Q1. What is the difference between business coaching and consulting and what do Business Abundance Specialists do?
A. Business coaching is the process of having the client come up with their own answers to their questions and issues through a process of inductive questioning. The insights that the client gains when they have an “AHA Moment” and get it themselves as if they already knew the answers is amazing. Consulting on the other hand is the process of passing proven skills and strategies on to the client in any area of business through seminars and workshops and working one-on-one with the business owner or team members. Business Abundance Specialists employ a combination of processes so that the client is learning inductively (gaining their own insights) and conductively (learning the necessary skills) from us. Q2. What results can I expect and when can I expect them?
A. You can expect fantastic results from our programs. Whether you take a 6 month coaching program or you need assistance with a specific project for a short period of time you can expect to not only gain the skills from Business Abundance but be able to apply those skills to your situation and reap the rewards of freedom of time, increased profits and peace of mind. How soon you start seeing results will depend on the speed of implementation of our skills and strategies. Normally with a coaching program it can take at least 6-8 weeks before you start to see positive financial results. However, other benefits such as increased motivation and focus in yourself and your team, better communications and improved customer service will start to show almost immediately.
Q3. Do you have a guarantee and if so what is it?
A. We will improve profitability in your business by a guaranteed minimum of 25% over 6 months (based on a minimum of 25 coaching sessions) if you follow our program and implement our recommendations or we will work with you for free until we do. [Top of Page]
Q4. Where and how is the coaching performed?
A. Coaching can either be performed face to face in your workplace (so you have access to all the information needed) or over the phone which will reduce the price as travel is not required. It is important that a specific time is scheduled on the same day of each week or fortnight for consistency.
Q5. How much of a time commitment am I up for?
A. Whether over the phone or face to face we allocate 60 minutes of time spent with you each week or fortnight as chosen. On top of that you will be asked to perform tasks in preparation for each appointment. Realistically you could be spending 3-5 hours per week or fortnight but remember, the more time you are working ON your business from a stragetic perspective the greater the benefits you will gain. Q6. How soon can I get started?
A. You can get started as soon as we find a suitable time that fits both your schedule and ours. On-going coaching can be weekly or fortnightly but this needs to be decided up front. We require you to have an initial Business Alignment meeting with us where we ask lots of questions so as to ascertain the best plan for growing your business. This normally takes 2-3 hours. Q7. What if I am not available for a particular coaching session?
A. If you cannot make a regular coaching appointment then we ask that you arrange a suitable time at least 48 hours before that scheduled appointment so that we can reschedule. If you cancel or attempt to reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment you will forfeit that appointment. Last minute changes can be hard to reschedule when we are already booked out. Q8. How much will it cost?
A. We understand that affordability is important to business owners so we have kept our prices down accordingly. Our on-going monthly coaching programs start at $800 per month + GST. However, if you are looking for specific skills in any area of your business then we are happy to provide a cost-effective quotation.
